Acceptable Use Policy

Rules protecting subscribers, customers and the Tradie Checkpoint service from misuse.

1. Use the Service lawfully

You may use Tradie Checkpoint only for lawful business purposes and in a way that respects other people’s rights. You are responsible for authorised users and activity through your workspace.

2. Prohibited conduct

  • Breaking a law, licensing rule, court order or another person’s legal rights.
  • Sending spam, deceptive messages, unlawful marketing or communications without required consent.
  • Impersonating another person or misrepresenting identity, authority, qualifications, licences, work or payment status.
  • Uploading malicious code, attempting unauthorised access, probing security or interfering with availability.
  • Accessing, copying or disclosing another business’s data without authority.
  • Uploading unlawful, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, exploitative or infringing content.
  • Using automated scraping, excessive requests or other activity that unreasonably burdens the Service.
  • Reselling, sublicensing or providing the Service as a bureau without written permission.
  • Using the Service to make high-impact automated decisions about a person without lawful human review.

3. Data that must not be uploaded

  • Individual tax file numbers.
  • Full payment-card numbers, card security codes or online banking passwords.
  • Health records, biometric templates or highly sensitive identity documents.
  • Passwords, authenticator secrets, secret API keys or another person’s login credentials.
  • Any information you do not have authority to collect, use or disclose.

4. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected misuse and take proportionate action, including warning, limiting a feature, removing unlawful content or suspending access. Where practicable we will give notice and an opportunity to respond, except where urgent action is reasonably needed for security, safety, legal compliance or prevention of harm.

5. Reporting

Report suspected misuse or security concerns to hello@tradiecheckpoint.com.au. Include the relevant workspace, record or link and do not email sensitive information that is not necessary for the report.
